We were delighted to launch the SoccerPots app on December 19th 2020 and kicked things off with a free to enter public league consisting of 6 games. We plan to keep adding £25 to the pot every round until someone scoops the pot!

In effect a free bet for anyone downloading the app. This gives everyone a chance to check out the App and join in the fun on twitter using the hashtag #SPFREE6.

Round 4

The pot is up to £100 despite only 5 games in Round 3 after the Everton v Man City was postponed just before kick off following several positive coronavirus tests at Manchester City. The two draws between Crystal Palace and Leicester City followed by Chelsea and Aston Villa caught everybody out. Will anyone win this round or will another £25 be added?

Round 3 is over two days and features games from Monday and Tuesday’s Premier League fixtures. The football comes thick and fast this time of year so no rest for the SoccerPots players. Both Round 1 and 2 have seen a player get 5 out of 6 fixtures correct so is this the Round that will see a winner? The pot is up to £75 and we will continue to add £25 a round until someone wins it.

Crystal Palace saved a penalty and will be happy with a point following their recent 7-0 and 3-0 defeats.

Chelsea 1 – 1 Aston Villa

Aston Villa’s Anwar El Ghazi scored his fifth in five games to secure a point after Villa went a goal down to Olivier Giroud’s first half header.

Arsenal have their first back to back win since September with a 66th minute strike being enough to earn the points against Brighton.

West Brom were thrashed despite their draw with Liverpool on their last outing. Big Sam has his work cut out.

Man Utd 1 – 0 Wolves

Manchester United go second in the Premier League with a last minute winner against Wolves in a tight game.

Round 2 features the traditional Boxing Day football fixtures. Obviously football in 2020 has been very different for people due to the Coronavirus pandemic meaning largely empty stadiums. You can enjoy some extra match day socially distanced excitement by taking part, Remember, follow the hashtag on #SPFREE6 on twitter to interact with other players. Or better still set up your own leagues with your mates – links to the app are on this link.

6 games with 4 different kick off times – should keep the excitement going for most of the day! These are the fixtures – once in the app all you need to do is select home win or draw!

Leicester came from behind twice to earn a hard fought draw in an entertaining Boxing Day clash.

Aston Villa 3 – 0 Crystal Palace

Aston Villa were leading 1-0 when Tyrone Mings was sent off in the 45th minute. Villa went on to score 2 more goals to continue their recent good form that sees them up to 6th In the Premier League. 

Fulham 0 – 0 Southampton

Fulham draw their 4th consecutive game in a competitive match against Southampton.

Arsenal 3 – 1 Chelsea

Arsenal end a 7 game run without a win at the expense of Chelsea and ease the pressure on Arteta.

Man City 2 – 0 Newcastle

Manchester City had won this fixture 11 times in a row – they made it 12 with victory over Newcastle that moved them to 5th in the Premier League.

Sheff Utd 0 – 1 Everton

Everton go 2nd in the Premier League after winning a tight game at Sheffield Utd.

Sam Allardyce began his new job with all the frailties of West Brom on display as Villa eased to a victory helped by Livermore’s red card in the 37th minute.
